1. Overview & Scope
Welcome to Naeem Electronics ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Naeem Electronics Mobile Application (package ID: com.ne.recoveryapp), including the Employee and Recovery Officer portals.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this document carefully. By installing, accessing, or using the Naeem Electronics application, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
We collect several types of information from and about users of our application to provide secure, role-based access, manage electronic product installments, and facilitate recovery operations.
2. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about users of our application to provide secure, role-based access, manage electronic product installments, and facilitate recovery operations:
A. Account & Organizational Hierarchy Data
- Account Details: Full Name, User/Employee ID, Mobile/Phone Number, Email Address, and Account Passwords (encrypted).
- Role & Organizational Data: User designation (Master Admin, CEO, General Manager, Regional Manager, Zone Manager, Branch Manager, Area Verification Officer/AVO), assigned region, zone, branch, and operational assignments.
B. Recovery & Operational Records
- Recovery Records: Payment collection information, assigned accounts, branch-wise recovery reports, payment receipts, and operational logs.
C. Location & Geocoding Information
- Precise GPS Coordinates: We collect your geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) via GPS when you log in or check in for field operations.
- Geocoding Address: Latitude and longitude are converted into approximate street address information via third-party reverse geocoding services to verify employee field presence and branch activities.
D. Technical & Hardware Identifiers
- Hardware & Network Data: Device Unique Identifier (Device ID), MAC Address, Device Name/Model, Operating System version, IP Address (retrieved via network lookup), and App Version.
- Security & Session Logs: Login attempt timestamps, session duration, auto-logout activity logs, and authorization status.
- Authentication Codes: Phone numbers and temporary OTP codes transmitted via SMS for multi-factor authorization (react-native-otp-verify).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for legitimate operational, security, and administrative purposes, including:
- Authentication & Access Control: Verifying user identity, enforcing role-based data access (RBAC hierarchy), and securing app login.
- Field Verification & Security Audit: Validating employee login location (via GPS, IP Address, and Device ID) to prevent unauthorized device access, spoofing, or fraudulent logins outside designated regions.
- Recovery Management: Managing recovery operations, payment collection activities, assigned recovery records, and branch-level operational reporting.
- Communication Facilitation: Enabling authorized employees and recovery officers to initiate phone calls or WhatsApp communication for official recovery operations.
- App Version & System Integrity: Checking for app version updates against our servers and the Google Play Store to ensure security patches are applied.
- Automated Security Lockouts: Tracking user activity in real-time (ActivityTracker) to automatically log out inactive users and protect sensitive financial records.
4. Device Permissions Requested
To provide full functionality, the application requests the following device permissions:
- Location Permission (GPS & Network): Mandatory for verifying employee field presence, branch check-ins, and regional recovery operations.
- Phone / Call Access: Enables recovery officers to initiate official calls to assigned installment account holders directly from the application.
- Biometric Authentication (Optional): Provides secure quick-login capabilities on supported hardware devices.
- Network & Internet Access: Required to establish encrypted communication with backend API servers.
6. Security & Data Storage
- Transmission Security: All communication between the mobile app and server endpoints uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols.
- Local Storage: Session state, authentication tokens, and user preferences are saved locally on the device using persistent encrypted storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage / Redux Persist).
- Session Timeout Security: The app implements an automated session activity tracker (ActivityTracker) that automatically logs out users after a specified period of inactivity to prevent unauthorized access if a device is left unattended.
- Data Retention: Personal and financial transaction records are retained for as long as necessary to fulfill business purposes, manage active installment accounts, and satisfy auditing or statutory legal obligations.
7. User Rights & Account / Data Deletion
Depending on your user role and jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access & Review: You can view your account details, assigned branch/region data, and transaction summaries directly within the app profile screens.
- Permission Revocation: You can revoke Location, Call, or Biometric permissions at any time via your device's System Settings. (Note: Revoking location permissions will prevent successful employee login as location verification is mandatory for security).
- Account & Data Deletion: Employees may request account deactivation or data removal by contacting Naeem Electronics Support, subject to outstanding contractual or financial recovery obligations.
📩 Account Deletion Request: Contact support at contact@naeemelc.com.pk with your User/Employee ID to request account deactivation or data removal.
8. Children's Privacy
The Naeem Electronics application is designed exclusively for commercial business operations, employees, recovery officers, and adult customer installment account holders. The app is not intended for children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
9. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When updates are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised. Continued use of the application after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
